Hey there! I am Ms. Berna! This is my sixth year at Williams, and fourth in fourth grade! I am so excited to participate in the incredible projects, field trips, and events that occur throughout this year at Williams.
I live in Roxbury with my two cats, Neely and Grandpa Joe. They are both named after favorite book characters. My family is from New Hampshire. I am an only child, which can get pretty lonely--but I had many aunts, uncles, and cousins to keep me company! I grew up climbing the White Mountains and swimming in Lake Winnipesaukee. Every year, I still go to the lake for the Fourth of July. I first went to school for film, but realized I really liked teaching instead. I used to teach adults and kids how to sew, knit and do other crafts. I went back to school to study to be a teacher and I have spent a lot of my time trying to learn new and interesting ways to teach things--did you know there is math in art?!? |

The Harry Potter series has been MY FAVORITE growing up. After I devoured the first three, I went to the midnight release of books 4-7. I remember reading the first few chapters as my mom drove me home in the middle of the night. That being said, I do have other interests...
